Isolator by Happy Nerding is a (unfortunately) very useful module. It offers two audio channels with galvanic isolation to prevent ground loop issues. It is only 4HP and there is also an extra headphone jack with independent level control. Nice!
The inputs of Happy Nerding's Isolator are mini jack sockets. Two 1/4" TRS balanced jacks connect to the outside world.
The left input is normalized to the right one. With nothing patched into right, the left signal will be present on both outputs. “Level” knob adjusts output level for Left and Right channels, "Phones" knob sets the level for the headphones output.
If jumpers are installed (by default) the headphones output has the max gain. If the gain is too high for the particular headphones model both jumpers should be removed.
