Funque Mod Eurorat brings the adaptation of a very well-known distortion-pedal into Eurorack.
With a sound that ranges from warm overdrive to creamy distortion to heavy fuzz with a rough, gritty texture, the ProCo RAT has played a major role in the pedal business since the late 70s. In the past it was guitarists like Jeff Beck or John Scofield who used the pedal, nowadays it is also used in electronic productions (listen to "Roland Rat" by Boys Noize & Erol Alkan). This packs the sound into Eurorack-compatible dimensions, but at the same time retains the sound and simplicity of the original. A distortion knob for distortion intensity, a filter potentiometer to find the right "tone" and a volume knob. Plus input and output, no bells & whistles, just (Euro-)RAT!
