Five12 - Vector Sequencer MkII
- Order number: 230586
- Depth: 28
The MkII version of the great Vector Sequencer! A top-class Eurorack sequencer from Five12.
The Vector sequencer is a very elaborately designed sequencer that is suitable for many different situations. There are a total of 8 parts, some of them can be set to play up to 4 voices - great for chords or drums! There are also presets, extensive random modes, 2 modulation sequences per voice, MIDI and so much more. This module is a very flexible and versatile tool to learn, so take a look at some videos or the manual!
The use of this sequencer revolves around the two displays. Here you can always see everything you need and control all the parameters. Everything you want to sequence can be sequenced here, from pitch to gate lengths to per-step random events. Particularly interesting are functions like Sequence “evolve” which adds subtle changes to sequence values, or the flexible, selectable timing options per step. Definitely a do-it-all sequencer!
The MkII version brings some technical innovations to make Vector Sequencer future-proof. A more powerful CPU and better DACs for the pitch outputs. This means even more presets and additional CV outputs. Furthermore, these new features will allow for future in-depth firmware updates. Don't worry if you have an older version! Five12 will continue to be provide updates for this.
The Jack Expander has also been updated! For example, it is now possible to sequence up to 12(!) voices.
A well-deserved update for a powerful sequencer!Features:
- 8-part sequencer with extensive sequence modification, random integration and more
- Two full sets of outputs for CV tracks (pitch, gate, velocity) (more with Jack Expander Mk2)
- Two 3.5 mm TRS MIDI outputs
- Two OLED displays
- 8 knobs with dedicated buttons for accessing each page
- Ninth knob for simultaneous editing of multiple parameter values
- Simple one-octave keyboard under the editing encoders
- Sequence “evolve” function for subtle changes to sequence values
- Extensive random functions for each step (mute, unmute, skip, jump, accent, gate modification, pitch transposition, pitch randomization and much more)
- Two sub-sequencers per part to perform transpositions, sequence start position and more
- Flexible, selectable timing options per step
- MkII version with better DA converters and more powerful CPU
