Five12 - QV-L
- Order number: 230235
- Depth: 35
The QV-L by Five12 is a quad LFO with a variety of variable shapable waveforms, flexible modulation options, sync and Sample & Hold functionality.
Besides the more standard waveforms (Sine, Triangle, Saw Up, Saw Down, Shark Left and Right, and Square) you get a three output Lorenz attractor chaotic waveform, a Perlin-noise style random waveform and a Logistic Map chaotic waveform generator. Additionally, you can set up waveforms to be blendable, e.g. sine into triangle. That is already a lot of variety, but you can multiply the possibilities via 8 modulation busses, with selectable sources, destinations and amounts. All four CV outputs can be custom mapped and processed by different operations like inverting, rectifying and more.
There are different options to set the LFO rates on your QV-L. You can define the LFO tempo freely, set it to a specific Hertz value or sync it by beats, bars or 16th. The QV-L can also be connected to a Vector Sequencer for sync and bi-directional MIDI communication.
The QV-L is a very complex modulation source for your eurorack synthesizer, but with the two screens and the preset management it is easy to work with this powerful module. Check out the manual for more details and tips & tricks.
