Video Synthesis

Video synthesizers electronically generate video signals in the form of static or moving images such as 2D or 3D patterns. The pattern generators are joined by a variety of image processing modules which range from scaling (aspect ratios, colors, etc.), mirroring and distortion to projection onto objects and can also process image material fed directly from cameras or video players. Fortunately, there are interfaces that allow scaling the voltages commonly used for video synthesis in such a way that the image material can also be processed with audio effects and fed back into the video synthesis.
