Resonant, voltage controlled tube lowpass filter with a wide range of sonic possibilities from juicy tube sound over extreme, distorted sounds up to self-resonating screams.
The Erica Fusion VCF is a very special lowpass filter, despite it's "T bandpass" design with a tube working simultaneously as a preamplifier and filter feedback driver. Both audio inputs are fed directly into the tube, are mixed there and they accept almost all audio levels. The level controls allow for adjusting the inputs up to distortion. The cutoff frequency can be modulated by CVs at the two CV inputs, the first of which has an attenuator. Besides the main audio output the module features a phase inverted output.
The module colors the sound a lot and often resembles a heavy fuzz, and the resonance begins early. Especially at low input levels the resonance gets strong and at no input the filter can oscillate.
