Eowave - Germania 241 VCA MkII
- Order number: 210069
- Depth: 25
Germania 241 is a voltage-controlled germanium transistor amplifier. According to the manufacturer, the module simulates traveling on the asteroid of the same name. – Seems to be a rather bumpy journey, as the germanium transistor enriches incoming sounds with some smooth distortion.
Germania 241 features an audio input, which is followed by a gain stage. It can be controlled manually and via two CV inputs. One of the control voltage channels is equipped with an attenuator. High settings result in distorted sound. To keep the results in check, there is an additional volume control at the output. Germanium transistors are available in limited quantities only. The components used for the Germania 241 may vary from module to module and so does the sound. Power connection : -12V (red stripe) down
