The slim line version of the A-124-2 really fits into any system and brings with it the charm of a British legend!
The circuit misuses digital inverters as op-amps resulting in its sound. Rough, dirty and full of charm! The resonance is very unstable and has unpredictable behavior. Although it never goes into self-oscillation, it is still very aggressive, especially at high input level settings. You get outputs for lowpass, bandpass and highpass, with lowpass and highpass sharing one output for space reasons. The mix output allows you to blend continuously between lowpass, notch and highpass.
Apart from the jumper-switchable lowpass and highpass outputs, the only other differences to the large version are the small potentiometers for mix and input level. Everything else is exactly the same as on the A-124.
Features:
- Multimode filter with lowpass, bandpass, highpass and notch
- 12dB slope
- No self-oscillation, but aggressive sound
- Mix output
- 2 CV inputs for filter frequency
