Multiplier module. The module differs from the A-180 as you can find a rocker switch side by side to the socket which assigns the incoming signal to buss 1 or buss 2. All sockets which have the switch in the same position are connected together. So you can connect easily 3 and 5 sockets together or 4 and 4 and configure the multiple as you like.

The official presentation of the system at 1996 Frankfurt Musikmesse caught everyone by surprise and created lots of interest. After Doepfer published the specifications on his website, many instrument designers and engineers saw the potential of the new Eurorack format. Doepfer continues expanding their catalog of over 200 modules (and counting), operating from their modest offices in the outskirts of Munich.
