The Scale4 by Datanoise is a high-precision scaler to adjust the signals of the Octawave to Eurorack level.
Datanoise's Octawave is a great ADAT-to-analog converter. When connected to the ADAT output of your audio interface, Octawave gives you 8 outputs for signals from your computer. To scale these signals from Octawaves +/- 3.063V to the Eurorack standard +/- 10V, you now have the Scale4.
Scale4 provides four channels of scaling, so you need two Scale4 to convert all 8 outputs of the Octawave. This way you can easily send signals from your computer to your Eurorack system. These signals can be audio or CV signals, but also gates and triggers. Since VCV Rack uses +/- 10V, it is possible with Scale4 to set the scaling to 1:1.
