Dannysound - Dynamics

Dannysound Dynamics is a compressor/expander with EQ and subbass enhancer that is actually at home in drum processing but is suitable for a variety of other applications.

Its discrete transistor circuitry produces smooth clipping when overdriven. Its feedforward circuitry allows for a punchy kind of sound.

The sub-bass enhancer has its own compression circuit, which uses the ducking of the transient to boost the sub-bass without distorting the transient peaks and increasing the overall level.

The three-band EQ in induction-based LCR design produces smooth "bite" and individual character when overdriven. Adjusting the controls initially provides subtle tonal shaping in the lower range, coloring the signal more intensely as you turn them up.

The Harmonic Exciter pushes the higher frequencies into a gentle valley of distortion, providing a "shiny" cymbal sound (Low) to snapping snare drums(High).

Sidechain inputs and the option of an external envelope control are available as well as an envelope output to feed the envelope detector for use with other modules. In addition, individual inputs/outputs for compressor/expander and EQ are available to operate the two sections as two separate modules.
