The VM-1S Voice Module from Cwejman delivers top-tier monophonic synthesizer fun! This is the color Matte Black.
The VM-1S module is, like all other devices from Cwejman, a true delicacy. Cwejman modules are meticulously designed and of the highest quality. The voice module is a complete synthesizer voice, inspired by the legendary S1, and includes everything you need: oscillator, filter, VCA, ring modulation, and two envelopes. Its sound range spans from crystal-clear to delightfully gritty. With various audio and CV routing options, the circuit integrates effortlessly with other modules.
The oscillator offers an impressive eight waveforms, even allowing triangle and sawtooth waves to be pulse-width modulated—a feature borrowed from the iconic VCO-6. A switch lets you select pulse waves with either predominantly even or odd harmonics. Alternatively, noise can be used as an audio source. You can also mix the generated waves with external audio material or break them via ring modulation.
The filter is simple yet unmistakably Cwejman: organic and precise. It features morphable lowpass, bandpass, and highpass modes and can self-oscillate.
Of the two envelopes, one provides AR stages, while the other offers ADSR. The VCA and filter each have dedicated outputs, and the module includes sync functionality and a saturation stage.
Overall, the VM-1S voice module is a powerful tool that delivers full Cwejman sound in a compact size!

The history of Cwejman goes back to the 1970s with a bespoke fully analog synthesizer called the Synthra. After a long hiatus due to the heyday of digital synths, they returned in 1998 seeing that the interest in analog modular synths was catching up. Ever since, Cwejman has been a synonym of uncompromising engineering aimed to provide outstanding sound quality.
