Cwejman VCO-2RM
- Order number: 120456
- Depth: 40
A powerful oscillator tool that functions perfectly even in challenging conditions: The Cwejman VCO-2RM.
White is an off-white. It is slightly different from the (classic) Eggshell.
Instruments and synthesizer modules from Wowa Cwejman are well thought out and built to bring satisfaction even in a laboratory setting. Absolutely pitch-stable, and when you set the Coarse parameter to 440Hz, it's exactly 440Hz!
VCO-2RM is a straightforward dual oscillator, and produces a clear and dynamic sound. Two oscillators, each with two outputs, one of which is 180° phase-shifted aka inverted. Each of the two oscillators has 3(!) FM inputs, one of which also has its own attenuator and is calibrated to V/Oct.
The normalization of VCO1 to the FM input of VCO2 is very useful, allowing you to instantly create complex VCO sounds à la Buchla. Both oscillators offer a rich selection of 7 waveforms. Naturally, there are sine, triangle, sawtooth, and pulse waves, but also mixed waves, all containing a pulse and therefore responding to PWM! You can synchronize VCO2 to VCO1 to generate new overtones, and both can be put into an LFO mode to serve as high-quality and complex LFOs.
An important part of VCO-2RM, as its name suggests, is the included ring modulation. The two VCOs are normalized to the inputs of the ring mod, but you can also send any signals through the ring mod and combine them with VCO-2RM.
A powerful and, above all, reliable tool for your Eurorack system. Rich sound packaged in sturdy construction. VCO-2RM is an oscillator for life!

The history of Cwejman goes back to the 1970s with a bespoke fully analog synthesizer called the Synthra. After a long hiatus due to the heyday of digital synths, they returned in 1998 seeing that the interest in analog modular synths was catching up. Ever since, Cwejman has been a synonym of uncompromising engineering aimed to provide outstanding sound quality.
