Cwejman VC-SC Stereo Compressor

- Order number: 240677
- Depth: 25
A compressor module like no other: the VC-SC Voltage Controlled Stereo Compressor in known Cwejman style. Here in the color Matte Black
According to a legend, its predecessor and Wowa's first stereo compressor, the VC-FCS, was not only found in the modular systems of demanding musicians but also in professional mastering studios. The VC-SC builds on this concept and takes it to the next level.
Cwejman is a name that extends beyond the Eurorack world, known for devices that are often unmatched in quality and functionality. The VC-SC is a stereo compressor packed with everything you could need. Whether gently enriching vocals with warmth, giving drums extra punch, or "gluing" multiple tracks into a stereo mix, this module gets the job done. Selectable compression curves make the sound character flexible, and voltage-controlled parameters allow for dynamic and lively sounds.
The feature set leaves nothing to be desired. Controls for ratio, threshold, attack, release, and output gain are onboard. Many parameters are voltage-controllable. LED chains visually display both compression and output levels. The side-chain path can be broken via send and return sockets, and a switch adds a high- or low-pass filter to the signal path. You can also switch between optical, knee and VCA compression curves, making the already versatile VC-SC even more adaptable. The latest version also includes both 3.5mm and 6.3mm jacks, making integration into non-Eurorack studios much easier.
The VC-SC is a compressor of the highest quality, offering versatility and precision while retaining plenty of character!

The history of Cwejman goes back to the 1970s with a bespoke fully analog synthesizer called the Synthra. After a long hiatus due to the heyday of digital synths, they returned in 1998 seeing that the interest in analog modular synths was catching up. Ever since, Cwejman has been a synonym of uncompromising engineering aimed to provide outstanding sound quality.
