Pedal manufacturers Chase Bliss and Meris went to the drawing board together and got heavily inspired by the Lexicon 224 vintage reverb classic.
The fruitful collaboration between the boutique manufacturers from Minnesota and California resulted in a high-end and a high-quality reverb pedal that also scores points for its clean and uncluttered interface. The CXM 1978 celebrates its wabi-sabi approach to perfecting the imperfect with three different algorithms (reverb, room, plate) that adds characteristic shift, pitch and delay if desired to add texture and liveliness to your signals.
Six motorized faders for EQing the reverb tail, as well as pre-delay and mix are available, as well as five arcade buttons for parameters such as resolution and length of the predelay, modulation intensity or algorithm selection. The rear panel offers MIDI Duo and stereo I/O (symmetrization can be switched on), an AUX input for preset and performance control, and an expression pedal input that can also be used for CV control.
