We strongly advise against using plug-in adapters, as too much heavy mass is applied to the cable in the adapter due to the rigid connection of plugs to the cable in the adapter with sockets that are usually soldered in nowadays. The leverage effect of moving cables quickly destroys a solder point on the board or the board itself. Particular care must be taken with the mini jack sockets of a modular system. A suitable cable (3.5 mm to 6.3 mm jack) is usually less expensive and protects the modules or devices.
