The Buchla Classic Reissue of the Quad Lopass Gate Model 292 rev C received a redesign by Roman Filippov of Black Corporation. It has four independent voltage-controlled amplifiers, that each feature signal input and output, a control voltage input that varies the unit’s gain and an offset adjustment. With a switch, of three operating modes can be activated: straight gate (VCA), lowpass filter (VCF), or a combination of the two, in which the spectral response varies as the gain is changed.
