Befaco - Hex Mix VCA
- Order number: 170223
- Depth: 30
The Hex Mix VCA is an amplifier / mixer module featuring six channels. Each signal path comes equipped with an input, a level potentiometer, a CV connector and an output. Additionally, there is a potentiometer for crossfading between logarithmic, linear and exponential response curve per channel. In use, the Hex Mix VCA shines with clean, uncolored sound. Thanks to its editable response curves, the module is very flexible.
The Hex Mix VCA is composed of six identical amplifier circuits. Each channel features the following connectors and control elements:
- Signal input
- Level potentiometer (Attenuator)
- Knob for adjusting the response curve
- Control voltage connector
- Output
As long as there aren’t any cables plugged in, the outputs are routed to the out connector of channel six. This means, that the Hex Mix VCA can be employed as a mixer as well.
Using the response curve potentiometers, it is possible to crossfade between logarithmic, linear and exponential characteristic.
The CV inputs are normalized to +10 V. Therefore, in the absence of control voltages, the level of each VCA can be adjusted manually.
