The Dual Atenuverter is a dual attenuverter from Barcelona-based manufacturer Befaco that will attenuate and invert the input signal and, if necessary, can also shift it (+/-10V).
The utility module from the Iberian Peninsula can multiply the signal by a factor of 1 to -1 (attenuate=clockwise/attenuate&invert=counterclockwise).
In addition, the Atenuator will work as an offset source with +/- 10V DC and can also double as a two-channel splitter if needed, since the two inputs are normalized (CH1>CH2). The two-color LEDs light up in red when the signal is positive and in green when the signal is negative, so using it as a primitive CV monitor is possible as well.
With over a decade of DIY workshops under their belt, Befaco has been one of the first modular synth mainstays of the ever-growing Barcelona modular scene. Their designs are completely open source and never cease to get acclaimed by both newbies and seasoned modularists alike.
