The grandPA module offers 12Bit, sample rate up to 44.1kHz, direct playback of two samples, distortion, then adjustable start- and end-points, gran size and more. All that fun on 5HP only and for small money.
Derived from the small standalone sampler MicroGranny the grandPA module also uses the MicroGranny 2.0 sound source.
Sockets: Two trigger inputs fr playing two different sounds, then one CV input which can be assigned to any sound parameter and finally one audio output.
Samples (22005Hz sampling rate, 16 bit, mono) are read from a microSD card whose slot is located deirectly at the face panel. Via buttons it is possible to play the sound manually as well. Per sample you have access to following parameters:
sample rate (up to 44.1 kHz)
crush distortion
grain size
grain shift speed
attack und release of the digital envelope generator (full release = hold)
