AtoVproject - cLFO

- Depth: 25
The cLFO by AtoVproject cleverly combines two analog voltage-controlled LFOs with a ring modulator, to create a wide spectrum of continuously variable modulation signals.
Even though the cLFO “only” outputs Triangle, Saw, and Square waves, the module can be patched to output a lot more complex waveforms. One reason is the intermodulation between the two LFOs, the Triangle output of LFO1 is normalized to the CV input of LFO2 for example. The other is the aforementioned Ring Modulator, that lets you experiment with effects typically reserved for audio modulation. You can also use the Ring Modulator with external VCOs, if you need a more precise tracking in audio range.
Accompanying the cLFO is a comprehensive manual filled with patch ideas, that is worth a look. For example, learn to patch a variable waveform LFO or delayed LFO.
Specifications:
- Two analog voltage controlled LFOs
- Waveform outputs: Triangle, Square, Sawtooth (LFO1 - ramp down, LFO2 ramp up)
- Ring Modulator (aka four quadrant multiplier aka bipolar VCA)
- Frequency range: 2 minutes - 0.05s (20Hz) without CV //13 hours to 400Hz with CV
- The waveform outputs emit signals between +/- 5V
