Analog monophonic synthesizer with an eight-step analog sequencer that can be synchronized to MIDI. One VCO and a rough/dirty sound make the Mochika XL perfect for nasty basslines.

The Mochika XL has one VCO that generates either square ot sawtooth  and has a wide frequency range and integrated portamento. An additional sound source can be found in the analog noise generator that can trigger the oscillator and generates percussive sounds.

The analog resonat filter is based on a Vactrol, a opto-electronic part with a inert but organic behavoiur. The filter is switchable between lowpass and highpass.

For modulation duties you´ll find aLFO with triangle and square and a decay-envelope. The LFO can modulate either the oscillator pitch or the filter cutoff frequency while the envelope is assigned to the cutoff only.

Internal eight-step sequencer with integrated clock generator can be synchronised to MIDI as well, either with 1-, 2-, 4- or 8-times the speed of the MIDI clock. eight play-modes are available: drone-oscillator mode, 4-, 6- and 8-step sequence (forward), 4-, 6- and 8-step sequence (pendulum). Besides this there´s an gate arpeggiator for up to four notes. All modes besides the oscillator mode are synchable to MIDI. the sequence can be output at CV and gate sockets to modulate other analog synthesizers.
