APB - ProSpec 1U4M4S

The APB Dynasonic 1U4m4s is a 1U pro audio rack mixer with 8 channels (4 XLR line mono/4 line stereo).

The 1U4m4s rack mixer is based on the proven circuitry of larger APB mixing consoles and delivers the same high-quality sound and workmanship for use in live and studio applications. Channels 1-4 can be operated either via combo (Mic/XLR) or 6.3 mm jack sockets, while channels 5-8 with 6.3 mm jack sockets can be configured as either four mono or four stereo channels. Left/right/mono (center) in XLR format are available as options for the playback path.

The first four channels have an effect-insert path for looping in external processors (e.g. compressors). Options for gain control, 48V phantom power, high-pass filter (75 Hz/18dB), phase inversion, solo PFL, panning and routing (L/R, mono) are available on the front panel for channels 1-4. Channels 5-8 have the same controls with the exception of phantom power and phase reverse, which are not required here, as well as an additional mute button. All buttons are internally illuminated for maximum visibility. The signal/peak LEDs change color depending on the input level.

The routing for the master or headphone mix can be set in the output section. Sum-LR sends a mono sum to the left and right outputs independently of the center output. The desired signals for the headphone mix can be selected via Listen Select. High-quality potentiometers and interior lighting guarantee maximum ease of use.
