Analogue Systems RS-100N Lowpass
- Order number: 190250
- Depth: 64
This low pass filter is a very good -24dB/octave Moog filter, based on the classic Moog cascade with selected, low-noise transistors.
The new RS-100N version features all the improvements from the RS-100S regarding stability, tracking, distortion behavoiur and also the frequency range. Thanks to a new front panel and bus concept, this version of the RS-100 is fully compatible to Doepfer-style Eurorack systems.
24dB/oct low pass filter based on the design by Moog. Two signal inputs, resonance, manually and voltage controlled cutoff frequency. Frequency range 10Hz to 35kHz with CVs applied.
The transistors used in the filter cascade are low-noise, have been selected and in addition have been matched in pairs which improves frequency response over the whole frequency range.
This (and one minute warm up time) guarantees that the filter can be used as a clean and well tracking sine wave oscillator.

RS-100N @Analogue Systems
Starting almost in parallel with Doepfer, Bob Williams established back in 1998 his own modular system with fine circuits reminiscent of the British tradition initiated with EMS in the 1970s. Despite offering initially a different power connector and panel width standard (which left a 1,5HP gap), all modules bearing the "N" on their names are adapted to work seamlessly with most eurorack cases. Still, it is worth checking the depth of your case.
