AJH Synth - Wave Swarm

AJH’s Wave Swarm is a fully analog waveform animator with two channels. A simple audio wave, such as a triangle or sawtooth, is enough for the module to generate powerful unison sounds. The results are very lively. By combining both channels, you can create wafting stereo effects or mono sound walls with up to 14 layers. Soft clipping stages flatten high level signal peaks. Complex waveforms such as wavetables can be processed as well, of course. – A great module for drone enthusiasts and Supersaw fans.
Wave Swarm features two (almost) identical channels. Each signal path is equipped with an audio input, followed by six LFO-based animators. As their frequencies differ slightly from each other, all kinds of phase cancellations and overlaps occur. Animators and dry material can be leveled individually. Thus, it is possible to freely adjust the complexity of the unison sounds generated by the Wave Swarm. Signal peaks are flattened by soft clipping stages.
The animators of the first and second channel differ in frequency as well. Thanks to this, great stereo effects can be achieved by combining both signal paths. Simply feed the same waveform to both inputs and connect the outputs to a stereo mixer. For combining both channels to one massive mono voice, there is an A+B out.

Allan "J" Hall started tinkering with electronics already at the age of 12 and after servicing classic analog synths for a while, he founded his own brand in Bournemouth, located in the south coast of England. His first run of Minimoog-clone modules were largely well received and Allan continues now expanding his catalogue with well thought-out original designs.
