Out of production Drum module with the sound of the TR-808´s bass drum. Analogue clone of the original circuitry
The 8BD features, like in the original the parameters Level, Tone and Decay. The Tune parameter has been added to change the bassdrum´s frequency.
The Gate input is dynamic - the louder the trigger pulse at the input ( 5V to 12V) the more volume and accent the sound has. A cable at the Velocity CV socket overrides the dynamic behaviour of the gate input but it gives you the possibility to control the velocity by other voltages like envelopes for different dynamics. In this case the gate input will fire the drum and the CV controls velocity.
